14th Annual Downtown Development Forum- “The New World of Downtown Tampa -2010.”

Event Description:
The Tampa Downtown Partnership has announced the 14th Annual Downtown Development Forum. The event is titled “The New World of Downtown Tampa -2010.” This year's event will take place Friday, March 19th starting at 7:30 a.m. and lasting until 12:00 p.m. The event will take place at Tampa Preparatory School (727 West Cass Street). This annual event focuses on the exploration of innovative ideas in urban development and serves as a catalyst for discussion and problem solving for major urban issues in Downtown Tampa. Each year hundreds of business people, developers, real estate professionals, property owners and others interested in the future of downtown attend this event. This year's event will include presentations and discussions on: - How Transportation Development will shape downtown's future.
- Growth Management Election Issues.
- Downtown Business Sector Updates.

Planned Parenthood Lobby Day in Tallahassee ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Tuesday, March 23, Planned Parenthood volunteers will be knocking on the doors of State Representatives and Senators to urge their support for our two proactive bills - The Healthy Teens Act and The Prevention First Act and to urge their opposition to the proposed abortion ban bill just introduced in the House. Join our busload of supporters (leaving from Sarasota and Tampa) for our one day trip on: Tuesday, March 23, 2010 5 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.! (or from Tampa: 6 a.m. - 9 p.m.) or/ You can drive/fly yourself and join us up there!
