  Annual Meeting of the Greater Tampa Chapter of the ACLU of Florida.           

All ACLU members and guests are invited to attend.

A partial agenda of the meeting includes the following.

1) Review of civil liberties issues and actions including ACLU litigation in the Greater Tampa Chapter Area.
2)Presentations from ACLU leadership related to past activities, current priorities and long-term plans.
3) Membership discussion of the priorities of the organization.
4) Planning civil liberties action, events, coordination, public education and communication.

Hillsborough Democratic Party Precinct Work

Monday, March 15th - 6:00 to 8:00 PM - precinct leaders and volunteers -

In place of the monthly DEC meeting, we will get together at the Children's Board on Palm Avenue in Ybor City to do precinct work. 

Neighborhood groups that developed goals and strategies during the February workshop will begin, or continue, putting their plans into action. 

Immigration Speakers Forum at USF - Tampa 

Description:  Presentation on current issues related to immigration laws and a review of upcoming legislative bills, including the DREAM Act and Comprehensive Immigration Reform.

 Democracia USA, Reform Immigration for America, and several other Hispanic organizations (including student organizations) are working collectively to host and recruit attendees to two upcoming events for the month of March.  Please let us know if you are interested in attending either events or both!  We hope to have a great show of support from the various Tampa Bay communities.
